So I went back to Silver Lake today thinking the turtles would be on their log. After all, it was cold out but sunny, so I figured they would be sunning themselves. I guess it is too cool in the air and the water is warm because none were in sight. There was a heron on the side of the lake though. Was it the same heron I photographed before? Maybe. This time he was much closer and I had a longer lens with me. I like the added bits of warm colors from the changed leaves. There were some interesting ducks there to shoot as well. I may post one of those tomorrow.
